The company informed Tadawul Saudi Arabia in a statement that it had completely recouped the $1 billion in international Islamic sukuk issued on April 8, 2013, and listed on the London Stock Exchange.

She stated that she had completely redeemed the 5,000 sukuk, which had a nominal value of $200,000 at the time of issuance.

She explained that Deutsche Bank's London branch serves as the payment agent and that the process's financial impact will be reflected in the second quarter of 2023's financial statements.

The Saudi Electricity Company completed the issuance of two billion dollars' worth of international sukuk two days ago. These sukuk were issued in green and regular tranches.

In a statement sent to Tadawul Saudi Arabia, the company stated that the offering value of the green sukuk tranche was $1.2 billion, had a maturity of ten years, and offered a fixed annual return of 4.632 percent. The offering value of the regular sukuk tranche was $800 million, had a maturity of thirty years, and offered a fixed annual return of 5.684 percent.

There were 10,000 sukuk issued, each with a nominal value of $200,000
